Montana Angler Fly Fishing, 76 Lucille Lane, Bozeman MT 59718
The Gallatin River is a very productive blue ribbon fly fishery near Bozeman and Big Sky. The Gallatin originates in Yellowstone National Park and its aquarium like waters attract anglers from around the country. It is smaller than the neighboring Madison River and Yellowstone River making it ideal for wade fishing trips. The Gallatin has a very high fish count making it a perfect fishery for newcomers to the sport. On the lower reaches of the river float fishing is productive in the fall and early summer when water temperatures are ideal. The Gallatin River is also centrally located among numerous other world class rivers, spring creeks and private ranches making it a great base for a fly fishing vacation. Montana Angler offers several lodging package options with world class fly fishing lodges, hotels and vacation rentals near the Gallatin.
