Join our Montana Angler hosted trip to one of the most remote regions of Patagonia: the River of Dreams Basecamp. Anglers will have the opportunity to target some of the least pressured trout in Patagonia on three incredible fisheries far from civilization. Guests will ride through the mountains on horseback to reach a remote river with 30 miles of float fishing waters exclusive to the small group of 6 guests in camp. The camp is also in hiking distance to a beautiful mountain walk and wade river and is also at the junction of a highly productive spring creek. Big trout and spectacular dry fly fishing await. Our hosts Eduardo and Consuelo Barrueto operate Magic Waters Lodge and their chef does a great job of preparing Chilean cuisine in camp. The camp itself is a permanent camp with large tents built on wooden platforms. There is a kitchen and lodge tent as well as a shower house. This is truly one of the last great angling adventures in the world.
