Current Conditions:
The East Gallatin is not the best option right now for fishing near Bozeman and Big Sky. Flows have bumped considerably with the warm weather and rain we had last week the river may be out of commission for awhile.
The Month Ahead:
The East Gallatin river will most likely remain high and muddy until June. It is possible a cold snap could hit our area and the river will drop and clear, but because the East Gallatin drains some of the snowiest country in the area, once snowmelt runoff begins, it takes at least a few weeks for the river to drop and clear enough for good fishing near Bozeman.
