Stay in a rustic but comfortable 3 bedroom off the grid cabin in the middle of a mountain meadow at the base of the Crazy Mountains. This massive 11,500 acre ranch was the backdrop to the riding scenes in "The Horse Whisperer" and offers 3 miles of private fishing on Big Timber Creek. We fish a different water each day including another gorgeous wade fishery on a nearby 25,000 acre ranch and float fishing trips on the Yellowstone and Boulder Rivers. Our camp cook and guides also stay on the ranch to prepare meals and tell fishing lies.

Boulder River Outpost - the ideal base for lightly fished waters
The Boulder River Outpost all inclusive package offers unparalleled variety for fishing options. The Outpost sits directly on the East Boulder River and is just minutes away from the Main Boulder and West Boulder. We are also close to the Yellowstone and Stillwater Rivers as well as three private ranches north of Big Timber that we have permission to access. Accommodations are in two rustic but comfortable cabins and our guides and camp cook stay at the Outpost with our guests. The Boulder Valley is arguably the most scenic in all of Montana and also very exclusive. If you love uncrowded fishing, dry fly loving trout and spectacular Montana scenery then the Outpost should be high on your list!

Mission Ranch Lodge - spectacular variety on a 4500 acre ranch
The Mission Ranch Lodge is located on a working cattle ranch and provides private access to 3 miles of the Yellowstone River, several miles of Mission Creek and even a private spring creek. This smaller lodge has a warm and welcoming feel and provides incredible variety for fishing options. In addition to the private waters on the ranch anglers can access the Yellowstone River, Boulder River, Stillwater River, Gallatin River, East Gallatin River, West Boulder River, Madison River, Big Timber Creek, Sweetgrass Creek, Yellowstone Park waters and multiple famous spring creeks. After a great day of fishing come back to the lodge to enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious meal including all natural beef right from the ranch!
