The Double T is located just outside of the tiny
ranching community of Clyde Park, Montana
and just an hour from the Bozeman airport.
The ranch offers over 115 acres of riverfront
property along the Shields river. The blue
ribbon Yellowstone River is just 10 minutes
away and the Boulder, Stillwater, Upper Smith
and Livingston spring creeks are all within
easy striking distance.
The ranch is home to a meticulously restored ranch house with bedrooms, a quaint cottage and two new riverfront log cabins. The accommodations err on the side of luxury with ultra high thread count sheets, high quality finish work and fine rustic decor. The centerpiece of the ranch is the massive barn that houses a large chef's kitchen and dining area that opens to a huge patio. Upstairs the barn includes a pool table, shuffle board table, poker table, bar, karaoke machine, arcade and massive entertainment system.
Outside the Double T has a summer camp atmosphere with a trout pond with swimming dock, bocce ball course, twin horseshoe pits, basketball hoop and a garage of toys including mountain bikes. There are even two electric golf carts for enjoying the network of trails.

The Barn
The centerpiece of our luxury Montana retreat center, Double T River Ranch, is “The Barn”, a gorgeous lovingly restored original 1900’s barn with a rustic exterior and a state-of-the-art, sophisticated interior. The Barn is designed to provide an ideal gathering place/dining area/game room/meeting room/watering hole for you and your group.

The Ranch House
The Ranch House, which was recently renovated for comfort and luxurious living, features a beautiful master suite with full private bath, two guest double rooms, a kids bunk room with a shared full bath and spacious living area. A gourmet kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances and separate dining area for groups and families is also included.

The Cabins
Just a quick walk away from the barn and house are two perfect and private riverfront cabins, only steps from the Shields River. Offering secluded space and solitude, yet close to the ranch hub, the cabins have identical floor plans. Each offers:
~Three bedrooms, two with single luxury queen beds, and one bedroom with two luxury queen beds
~Fully equipped kitchen with dining area
~One full and one half bath stocked with luxury towels and linens
~Overlooking the Shields River – amazing views, fishing and swimming right out your door
~Gas fireplaces
~Shared lawn with firepit, tables and lounging chairs
~Hiking/biking trails all around
Dining
Meal times vary according to the planned fishing schedule. Typically, the staff plans breakfast for 45 minutes before scheduled fishing departure. Appetizers and an open bar with wine and beer will greet you upon your return from fishing, while dinner is being prepared. Dinners are served at the dining table in the barn or on the patio if weather permits. Our guides will prepare picnic style lunches on the river each day when fishing. Breakfasts are prepared fresh each morning and are always accompanied by fresh juices, fruits, gourmet coffee and a choice of hot and cold options.
