Kau Tapen ("House of Fishing" in the Ona language) is the original fishing lodge in Tierra del Fuego and the standard of elegance by which other lodges are measured. The Kau Tapen lodge has made the Rio Grande a household name for fly anglers the world over. The lodge owns 10 miles on both banks of the river that many of its legion of return guests consider to be the finest holding water on the entire Rio Grande river system. Fish over 20 lbs are common and the lodge holds many records over the 30lb. mark.
Villa Maria has offered small private groups exciting fishing on some of the most productive pools on the lower Rio Grande since 1994. Unlike Kau Tapen or Toon Ken, which are located on the upper river, Villa Maria offers anglers first crack at newly arrived Sea Trout on the lower Rio Grande. The Rio Grande is the best river in the world for landing giant brown trout that average over 10 lbs and are commonly caught over 20 lbs. When fishing at Villa Maria you will have the first shot at record fish that will occasionally go over 30 lbs!
Golden dorado are the native game fish to Argentina. This large and hard fighting "river tiger" is one of the world's great streamer fish and behaves much like a small tarpon. Pira Lodge offers access to some of the globes best dorado fly fishing. In many areas large freshwater dorado are caught in murky waters, but at Pira you will be casting in clear waters and will see the heart stopping takes. The luxurious Pira lodge is located in the vast wilderness area of the Ibera marshlands in the northern portion of Argentina.
Alto Parana offers some of the most stable golden dorado fishing in the world. The lodge is located on a the Parana river which offers trophy golden dorado as well as dry fly fishing for pira pita and pacu.

The Chubut River offers some of the fastest dry fly action in the world for aggressive rainbows and browns. This overnight river trip provides access to 60km of water that flows across a private estancia. The only way to access this great trout water is to spend three or four days floating and camping. The Chubut is a smaller river and filled with a healthy supply of medium sized trout in the 12-17" range with a few larger trout up to 22" caught on most trips. Catch rates are typically high and 100 fish days are a real possibility.
