Carrileufu River Lodge offers one of the best locations for targeting the unique wild trout fisheries of central Patagonia. The lodge is positioned near the boarder of Los Alerces National Park. This spectacular region is home to a chain of lakes and rivers that offer excellent angling opportunities. This is a great location for float fishing numerous high quality floats on prolific rivers. Most of the rivers in this region drain large lakes which produces a natural tailwater effect. The rivers in this area of Argentina are some of the most beautiful in the world!
Our hosted trip in January is a prime time to target this region when many of the larger fish in the region have migrated from some of the lakes in the region into the rivers to feed. This is also a great time to catch some prime hatches.
When you are off the river enjoy comfortable rooms, a great main lodge and an suberb cullinary program.
