Join Montana Angler guide Ben Han as he hosts a small group of anglers (maximum of 8 guests) at two of the most exciting golden dorado fisheries on the planet out of Pira and Suinda lodges the week of March 26, 2026. These amazing fish inhabit streams and rivers in Northern Argentina. They are built like muscular salmon, hit like a northern pike and jump like a tarpon - truly one of the world's most spectacular game fish. The week will begin at Pira Lodge in the wilderness setting of the Ibera mashland ecosystem which is a vast labyrnth of spring creek channels and marsh rivers in an area twice the size of the Florida Everglades. The second half of the week will be at Suinda lodge on the Parana river in search for huge double digit dorado in a clear water tailwater system. Anglers will also through large foam dry flies for the exotic and hard fighting pacu and pira pita. Both lodges offer are part of the Nervous Waters network which are synonomous with top shelf culinary programs and service when you are off the water.
TRIP ITINERARY - MARCH 2027
March 24th - fly from US to Buenos Aires (overnight flight)
March 25th - arrive BA morning, taxi to local hotel in Recoleta neighborhood – we recommend Lois Suites Recoleta hotel (self book)
March 26th - fly from AEP (domestic airport in Buenos Aires) to Corrientes (CNQ) – 4 hour ground transfer at lodge
March 27 - full day fishing
March 28 - full day fishing
March 29 - full day fishing
March 30 - AM fishing at Pira then 4.5 hour ground transfer to Suinda Lodge – PM fishing
March 31 - full day fishing
April 1 - full day fishing
April 2 - 1 hour transfer to CNQ - fly to AEP then taxi to international airport (EZE) for, overnight flight home
April 3 - return US
